TAPT BY LAW AMENDMENT PASSES ON MAY 4, 2010

OFFICERS: ARTICLE III SECTION 7

The new adopted wording is: The term of office for all officers shall be two year. Officers may only serve on the Board of Directors for a maximum of two consecutive terms in each office; the Treasurer may be re-elected for more than two (2) consecutive terms.  Vacancies in offices shall be filled by a special election at a regular business meeting of Tulsa Area Prime Timers determined by the Board of Directors, no later than sixty (60) days after the vacancy occurs. The special election shall be announced at least fourteen (14) days prior to the meeting at which the election will be conducted. The Nominating Committee shall submit nominations for vacancies and nominations from the floor shall be accepted.

A motion for change for current officers of TAPT and all future terms will be two years.  The current officers term will be extended one year and would be entitled to run for one more term if they so desire was made by Murrel W. seconded by Chuck B.  All members present approved the motion.
